Sharjah:Indian baby care giant Popees has inaugurated its second international outlet at Sahara Mall, Sharjah, marking its 92nd store worldwide. The launch follows the recent opening of its first UAE showroom in Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi.
The new store was inaugurated by Dr. Al Omar Marzooqi, Major in Dubai Police and prominent entrepreneur, with Popees Group Managing Director Shaju Thomas leading the ceremony. Key industry figures including Nishad Zainudheen, MD of Plasto Agencies and Coastal India Agencies, also attended.Founded in 2003, Popees offers a wide range of baby products including clothing, toiletries, and accessories. With over 80 outlets in India and growing international presence, the brand is planning further expansions across the GCC, UK, and Australia, along with setting up a UAE-based factory and distribution network.The group also owns Pomees, a brand catering to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, with plans to open 20 stores across the GCC this year.
