Abu Dhabi ∙ The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) announced 39 updated policies for private schools in the Emirates. Additionally, 27 new policies designed for early education institutions (EEIs) were introduced. The new policies will come into effect from the 2024/25 academic year. Local needs and cultural considerations are creating a framework to elevate Abu Dhabi’s education system on a global scale. The updated policies will foster sustainability, ensure accountability, and help maintain a safe learning environment. The renewal of these policies is a result of extensive cooperation involving over 400 key stakeholders, including government entities, private schools, and EEIs.
