Dubai:Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that its integrated public transport network served a staggering 7.577 million riders during the Eid Al-Adha holiday from 5 to 8 June 2025, marking a 14% increase compared to the same period last year. The surge in ridership underscores the growing trust in Dubai’s efficient and accessible public transportation services, particularly during peak travel periods and festive seasons.
The breakdown of the figures highlights the vital role each mode of transport played:

• Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines): 2.786 million riders
• Dubai Tram: 119,917 riders
• Public Buses: 1.663 million riders
• Marine Transport: 307,684 riders
