Dubai: Flight operations between the UAE and Ahmedabad have returned to normal following the Air India Express plane crash that occurred shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Thursday, June 12. The flight, bound for London, crashed minutes after takeoff, prompting a temporary closure of the airport.
Authorities confirmed that only one UAE-bound flight was affected during the temporary suspension. Etihad Airways flight EY 240, scheduled from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad, was delayed by two hours due to the disruption. However, all subsequent flights are expected to depart as per schedule.
No delays have been reported for Dubai-Ahmedabad services.

• Emirates flight EK 538 and Flydubai flight FZ 437 are expected to depart Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 10:50 PM and 11:10 PM (UAE time) respectively on Thursday night.
• Air Arabia flight G9 418 is scheduled to depart from Sharjah International Airport at 12:25 AM on Friday, June 13, and arrive at Ahmedabad Terminal 2 at 4:35 AM IST.Aviation officials have assured that operations are stable and fully restored, with no further disruptions anticipated.
