Dubai, Ajman: As part of the summer working schedule, the Ajman government has announced that from July 1 to August 22, government employees will be allowed to work from home on Fridays. In addition to this, working hours will be reduced by one hour from Monday to Thursday. Employees will now work from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM during this period.The new policy, aimed at addressing the extreme summer heat, will remain in effect throughout the summer. Authorities will assess whether maintaining this schedule in the future would be beneficial.This initiative, which seeks to enhance the quality of life for government employees, has been approved by the Ajman Executive Council under the leadership of Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.
Ajman’s announcement follows Dubai’s implementation of a similar flexible working policy for the public sector. In Dubai, the summer schedule will be in effect from July through September 12, offering government employees eased working hours during the hottest months of the year.
