Dubai : The newly elected global office bearers of the World Malayalee Council (WMC) for the 2025–27 term officially assumed office in a swearing-in ceremony held at the Corniche Hotel, Sharjah.Dr. Isaac John Pattani Parampil took charge as the Global Chairman, Baby Mathew Somatheeram as President, Moosa Koya as General Secretary, Thomas Chellath as Treasurer, and Johnny Kuruvilla as the Global Goodwill Ambassador. Other key positions include Dr. Sasi Nadakkal as Vice President (Admin).
The ceremony also saw the induction of other global executives:

• Vice Presidents: Charles Paul, Dominic Joseph, Rajneesh Babu, Cecily Jacob, Irfan Malik, T.K. Vijayan, Ancy Joy
• Vice Chairmen: Shahul Hameed, C.U. Mathai, Sugathakumari, Killian Joseph, Abbas Chellath
• Secretaries: C.A. Biju, Sam Joseph, Biju Chacko
• Joint Treasurer: M.K. Ravindran
• Women’s Forum: Esther Isaac (President), Anni Palliyath (Secretary), Jameela Gulam (Treasurer)

Forum chairpersons, presidents, and secretaries of various WMC regions and provinces also took their oaths of office.
Several prominent personalities graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the new leadership, including Ramesh Chennithala, T.P. Sreenivasan IFS, S.A. Saleem, Faisal Kottikkolon, MLA Sajeesh Joseph, P.H. Kurian IAS, Punalur Somarajan, Poland Koya, Shamsuddin, Naseer Vilayil, Mathukutty Kadon, Sajith Kumar P.K., and James Mathew.Office bearers from various regional and provincial chapters were also in attendance. The event was coordinated by WMC Middle East leadership including Chairman Santosh Kettezh, President Vinesh Mohan, Secretary Rajeev, Treasurer Judin Fernandes, and Vice President Thomas Joseph.
