Dubai:In a move to strengthen innovation and evidence-based development, Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TRENDS Research & Advisory.
The strategic agreement aims to enhance mutual cooperation in research, knowledge exchange, and capacity building. It paves the way for joint initiatives, including field studies, policy insights, and advanced training programs that support knowledge-driven development.The MoU was signed by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai Immigration, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory. The signing ceremony took place at the GDRFA headquarters in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.“This collaboration with TRENDS, which is rooted in knowledge and innovation, will strengthen our vision and global standing,” said Lt. Gen. Al Marri. “It marks a meaningful addition to our long-term efforts and strategic partnerships.”The agreement focuses on fostering deep understanding of social and policy issues through research cooperation and shared expertise. Both organizations aim to contribute to future-ready, data-informed decision-making.
