Dubai / Abu Dhabi: Dubai has been ranked third globally for nighttime beauty, according to a recent study conducted by travel experts at Travel Bag. The report analyzed over 100 major cities worldwide based on factors such as Instagram hashtags, light and noise pollution levels, nighttime safety scores, and the number of late-night activities.
The study revealed a 164% increase in global online searches related to night tourism, indicating a growing interest in exploring cities after dark.
Dubai earned its top-three position with:
• 29,600 Instagram hashtags related to its nightlife,
• A night safety score of 83, and
• A moderate light and noise pollution score of 53.
Top 10 Cities for Nighttime Beauty:

2. Tokyo, Japan
3. Dubai, UAE
4. Singapore
5. Muscat, Oman
6. Kyoto, Japan
7. Sydney, Australia
8. Seoul, South Korea
9. Toronto, Canada
10. Melbourne, Australia
New York topped the list with:
• Over 40,800 Instagram hashtags,
• A light pollution score of 46,
• A night safety score of 75, and
• More than 2,300 major nighttime events.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi has been recognized as the world’s safest city at night, securing a top night safety score of 87 out of 100. Taipei, Taiwan followed closely with a score of 85, while Dubai claimed third place in safety as well, with a score of 83.
Officials and tourism stakeholders across the UAE hailed the recognition as a reflection of the country’s focus on public safety, urban aesthetics, and vibrant night culture.
