Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced new bus stops and implemented key route changes across the emirate to improve public transport efficiency, accessibility, and connectivity between residential, industrial, and developing areas.
The updates aim to shorten travel times and boost service coverage in high-demand zones. Highlights of the changes include:
• Route 17 now terminates at Baniyas Square Metro Station instead of Sabkha Bus Station.
• Route 24 has been realigned within Al Nahda 1.
• Route 44 has been diverted via Dubai Festival City, away from Rabat Street.
• Route 56 has been extended to serve DWC Staff Village.
• Routes 66 & 67 now include new stops in the Al Ruwayyah Farm area.
Other notable adjustments:
• Route 32C is shortened between Al Jafiliya and Satwa; passengers heading to Satwa should use Route F27.
• Route C26 now stops at Max Metro Bus Stop 2 instead of Al Jafiliya.
• Route E16 will now terminate at Union Bus Station instead of Sabkha.
• Route F12 is shortened between Satwa Roundabout and Wasl Park, now rerouted via Kuwait Street.
• Route F27 stop moved to Max Metro Bus Stop 2.
• Route F47 realigned within Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
• Route F54 extended to the new camp in South JAFZA.
The RTA confirmed that these adjustments are part of its ongoing efforts to deliver more efficient, passenger-friendly public transport services throughout Dubai.
