Abu Dhabi :UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has welcomed the recent decision by ten additional countries to officially recognize the State of Palestine.The countries include Malta, Canada, Australia, Andorra, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Portugal, and San Marino.Sheikh Abdullah stated that this move reflects growing international support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to establish an “independent and sovereign state.” He emphasized that this recognition reinforces the international community’s commitment to justice and peace in the region.He also called on more countries around the world to take similar steps in recognizing Palestine and supporting its people’s right to self-determination.
