Abu Dhabi: Morafiq Aviation Services has announced the launch of the City Check-In facility for IndiGo passengers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, starting August 11. On the inaugural day, passengers who complete their check-in will be able to avail the service free of charge.The service will be available for passengers flying to 16 destinations across India on IndiGo flights, allowing them to complete check-in between 24 hours and 4 hours before departure. By checking in at these city centers, passengers can drop off their baggage and collect their boarding pass, enabling them to skip long queues at the airport and head straight to the immigration counter.In Abu Dhabi, the facility will operate 24/7 at the Mina Cruise Terminal. Additional check-in points will be available at Shabiya 11 in Mussafah and Ferrari World Entrance in Yas Mall, open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. In Al Ain, the service will be available at Kuwaitat Lulu Mall starting September 1, with a minimum check-in window of seven hours before the flight.
Currently, the City Check-In service is also available for passengers traveling on Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air, and EgyptAir. Morafiq also offers Home Check-In, where agents visit passengers’ residences to complete check-in and collect baggage, as well as Land & Leave, a service that delivers arriving passengers’ baggage from the airport to their home or hotel.
