Fujairah, UAE – A minor earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Safad area of Fujairah on Friday, August 22, according to the National Seismic Network of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The tremor occurred at 12:35 p.m. UAE local time at a depth of 2.3 kilometers. The NCM confirmed that the quake was not felt by residents and caused no impact or damage in the region.
