The announcement clarifies that recent reports circulating about changes in school hours are baseless. The Ministry urged the public not to be misled by unofficial news spreading on social media platforms and emphasized that only announcements made through its official channels should be trusted.
Public schools across the country are set to reopen this Monday after the summer break. The Ministry detailed the operational hours for various school levels as follows:
Kindergarten:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM
Cycle 1 (Grades 1 to 4):
Option 1:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 1:25 PM
Friday: 7:15 AM to 10:50 AM
Option 2:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 2:20 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM
Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 (Grades 5 to 12):
Boys:
Monday to Thursday: 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM
Friday: 7:15 AM to 10:35 AM
Girls:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM
