Dubai, September 2, 2025 – The spirit of Onam lit up Dubai as Blue Ocean Corporation hosted a rare multicultural Onam celebration that brought together staff from more than 18 nationalities. The event, infused with traditional performances, vibrant attires, and authentic Kerala flavors, became a shining example of UAE’s inclusivity and cultural harmony.
A Festival Beyond Borders
Under the theme “One Onam, One Spirit, One Family,” Blue Ocean’s Onam festivities reflected the UAE’s position as a home to over 200 nationalities. What made the celebration unique was the fusion of Kerala’s harvest festival with global cultures, highlighting togetherness, peace, and joy.

Global Participation, Local Flavor
Employees and guests from across the UAE, Egypt, Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Nepal, the Philippines, Sudan, Sweden, Syria, and Tunisia participated in the festivities. The highlight was a traditional Onasadhya feast, complemented by colorful cultural performances representing diverse heritages.

This year, Blue Ocean extended its Onam celebration to its offices in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kochi – making it a global showcase of unity in diversity. The festivities included folk dances, music, and storytelling, blending Kerala’s cultural richness with international expressions.
