Dubai, September 4, 2025 – The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai has officially announced its working hours for the Prophet’s Birthday holiday on September 5, 2025, ensuring uninterrupted services for travelers and residents.
24/7 Services at Dubai International Airport
To accommodate the high volume of passengers during the holiday, GDRFA confirmed that the Customer Happiness Center at Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3 (Arrivals Hall), will remain open 24/7. This guarantees smooth immigration processes and hassle-free services for all travelers.
Extended Hours at Al Aweer Center
The Al Aweer Customer Happiness Center will also be operational from 6 AM to 10 PM, providing additional support for customers who require in-person services.

Seamless Digital Services for Residents
For those preferring online access, GDRFA highlighted its digital platforms, including the official website www.gdrfad.gov.ae, the GDRFA DXB app, and the Dubai Now app, which offer uninterrupted visa, residency, and immigration services.
Additionally, the Amer Call Center (8005111) will operate 24/7, assisting with all inquiries related to visas, residency, and other immigration matters.
