The UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC) has announced the second edition of its landmark “CyberQ” conference, set to take place this November 26–27 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Building on its success as one of the Middle East’s leading cybersecurity events, CyberQ 2025 will address the critical convergence of Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cybersecurity.
This year’s theme, “Where Quantum, AI, and Cybersecurity Converge,” will bring together top-tier experts, policymakers, and industry leaders from over 100 countries. The conference will examine the growing disruptive impact of quantum computing and AI-driven technologies on cybersecurity defenses and threats alike. Key sessions will explore topics such as automated cyber defense, AI-powered attacks, the transition to post-quantum security protocols, and the emerging risks of organized cybercrime.
Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, emphasized that CyberQ’s continuation reflects the nation’s strategic vision to reinforce its global leadership in digital security. “Quantum computing’s ability to solve highly complex mathematical problems requires a fundamental rethink of traditional encryption methods,” he said, adding that the event aims to promote knowledge exchange and cooperation at both regional and global levels.
The conference will also highlight advances in quantum cryptography, international cybersecurity standards, and the growing urgency to prepare for quantum-era threats. Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and a supporting partner of CyberQ, stated, “This convergence is reshaping the global security landscape and demands innovative approaches to safeguard critical infrastructure. CyberQ offers an essential platform to advance sovereign capabilities in post-quantum cryptography and AI-driven solutions.”
With quantum technologies rapidly maturing, the event reinforces the UAE’s commitment to building robust digital defenses and fostering collaboration across borders. CyberQ 2025 promises to be a pivotal forum where forward-looking strategies, cutting-edge research, and international cooperation converge to face the evolving challenges of the cyber era.
