Dubai : The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai has been honored with the prestigious Best Integrated Government Communication Award at the 12th Sharjah Government Communication Awards 2025. The award, presented by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Sharjah Deputy Ruler and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, was received by Lt. General Mohammed Ahmad Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai.
This international accolade recognizes outstanding government communication practices that enhance public trust, strengthen transparency, and promote efficient interactions between government entities and society. The award underscores GDRFA Dubai’s innovative approach to integrated communication, built on scientific models, strategic media messaging, advanced measurement tools, and comprehensive internal and external communication projects.
GDRFA Dubai’s Marketing and Government Communication Department played a pivotal role in earning this recognition. The system they developed integrates over 120 reputation ambassadors, social innovation labs, dedicated platforms for children and the public, and multilingual messages powered by Artificial Intelligence. These innovative elements contribute to an advanced communication framework that connects policy, strategy, and technology seamlessly.

Lt. General Mohammed Ahmad Al Marri emphasized, “This award reflects our ability to create a system combining innovation, transparency, and human-centered interaction. Our goal has always been to communicate effectively while building lasting trust with the public.”
Dr. Najla Omar Al Dukhi, Director of Marketing and Government Communication, added, “Our scientific frameworks and collective effort shape GDRFA Dubai’s identity. Campaigns like ‘Ideal Face’ and other creative initiatives played a key role in strengthening public confidence and were also recognized globally with the 2025 Stevie International Award for Best Marketing Campaign.”
