Dubai: In a strategic step to improve service integration and elevate the quality of life for residents and visitors, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rental Disputes Center. The agreement reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and its vision of becoming one of the world’s happiest and most livable cities.
According to the terms of the MoU, the two entities will collaborate on information exchange, the development of joint projects, and the sharing of innovative ideas to streamline services. They will also focus on coordinated marketing initiatives to raise public awareness of available services, ensuring residents and investors benefit from simplified processes and accessible solutions.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, highlighted that the agreement embodies the principle of “People First,” emphasizing that seamless and interconnected services are key to enhancing customer happiness and overall quality of life. He added that this collaboration underscores Dubai’s people-centered governance model, which prioritizes convenience, trust, and efficiency.
Chief Judge Abdul Qader Musa of the Rental Disputes Center described the agreement as a “strategic step in strengthening cooperation between government institutions.” He stressed that the sharing of data and expertise would reinforce Dubai’s reputation for transparency, justice, and efficiency in its services, particularly in the real estate and housing sectors where tenant-landlord relations are critical to social stability.

The GDRFA further stated that this partnership will play a vital role in advancing Dubai’s comprehensive development vision, making use of digital solutions to boost service efficiency and support both economic and social growth. By aligning efforts across departments, Dubai continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovative governance that places resident well-being at the center of policy.
This agreement not only enhances institutional collaboration but also serves as a model of how Dubai is leveraging partnerships to sustain its global reputation as a city of progress, transparency, and opportunity.
