Dubai – The annual Malayala Manorama Vidyarambham is set to bring together Malayali families across the UAE this October, offering children their first steps into the world of letters in a traditional and memorable way. This year, popular playback singer G. Venugopal will grace the event as the chief guest, initiating children into their first alphabet. The ceremony will also see the participation of Indian Consul General in Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan, and writer Jose Panachippuram, Editorial Director of Malayala Manorama, who will join as gurus for the occasion.
The Vidyarambham celebrations will take place on October 2, 2025, from 6:00 am at the Lavender Hotel in Dubai’s Al Nahda. Families from all seven emirates are expected to attend, with parents bringing their children to experience the traditional Malayalam initiation ritual known as Ezhuthiniruthu.
