The Kannur Expatriates Association (KEXPA) organized a felicitation meeting to honor members concluding their expatriate journey and returning home. The event, presided over by KEXPA President KV Shajesh, saw active participation from executive members Dineshan Kadala and Rajesh Kunjiraman, who were acknowledged for their contributions and journey abroad.
Following the felicitation, a gift presentation ceremony was conducted by President KV Shajesh and Vice President Lasith Kayakeela, celebrating the returning members’ achievements. The gathering also served as a planning session for KEXPA’s activities in the upcoming year, where Abhi Vengara was elected as the new Chairman of the Media & Cultural Committee.
Several office bearers and former members addressed the assembly, including Vice President Sangeeth Krishnan, Joint Secretaries Sineesh Gangadharan and Rajesh Krishnan, Coordinator Murali Vines, former President Captain Vijith Vayakkara, and former Secretary Jithesh Vijayan, who shared insights on expatriate life, community engagement, and upcoming initiatives.
The meeting reflected KEXPA’s continued commitment to supporting the Kannur expatriate community, celebrating their contributions, and fostering a strong network for collaboration, cultural exchange, and future activities.
