Telugu cinema icon Allu Arjun has revealed his next ambitious venture, AA 23, marking a highly anticipated collaboration with celebrated director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The announcement comes hot on the heels of the blockbuster success of Pushpa 2: The Rule and was unveiled through a stylised animated video released during Pongal celebrations.
The announcement video features evocative visuals, beginning with serene landscapes at sunrise before transitioning into darker, more intense imagery. Allu Arjun is seen walking alone through a forest, standing near a fire, and later attempting to tame a powerful horse atop a hill. The teaser reaches its peak with a symbolic confrontation between wolves and a lion, underscored by a commanding roar that hints at themes of dominance and resilience.
Ending with the words “A Lokesh Kanagaraj film” and the tagline “Strive for greatness,” the teaser confirms that filming for AA 23 will commence in 2026. The powerful background score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who will also handle the film’s complete musical composition.
Expressing his excitement on social media, Allu Arjun wrote, “I SAY 23. Goin on a spree. Low-Key G. Locked in mentally. That’s a guarantee! Can’t wait for this one.” In addition to AA 23, the actor is also collaborating with director Atlee on a separate project that will feature Deepika Padukone in a key role.
