The 31st edition of Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest food and beverage trade exhibition, has opened to an overwhelming global response at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City, bringing together leading companies, policymakers, and industry experts from across the world.
India has made a strong impact at this year’s event with the participation of nearly 200 Indian exhibitors, showcasing a diverse range of agri-food and processed food products, including offerings from Kerala and other regions. Highlighting India’s agri-food strength, the APEDA Pavilion (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) was inaugurated in the presence of APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev, LuLu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali, and Food Processing and Industries Secretary A.P. Das Joshi.
The APEDA Pavilion showcases India’s export-ready agricultural and processed food products, reinforcing the country’s growing role in global food trade and supply chains.
Another major attraction at Gulfood 2026 is the LuLu Pavilion, which stands out for its global product portfolio and innovation-driven displays. LuLu has introduced premium food products sourced from countries including Canada, Australia, South Africa, and several European nations, underscoring its position as a global retail leader.
During the event, LuLu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali held high-level meetings with several international and Indian dignitaries, including Lithuanian Agriculture Minister Andrius Palionis, Alberta (Canada) Agriculture Minister RJ Sigurdson, Australian Trade and Tourism Minister Don Farrell, Sikkim Agriculture Minister Puran Kumar Gurung, APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev, and Secretary A.P.
