New Delhi, March 1: Air India Express has extended the suspension of its flights to and from several Gulf countries until 23:59 hrs IST (18:29 hrs UTC) on March 2, 2026, the airline announced on Saturday.

The suspension applies to services operating to and from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement, an Air India Express spokesperson confirmed that affected passengers are being notified directly through their registered contact details. Travelers have been advised to check their flight status on the airline’s official website and ensure their contact information is updated.

To assist impacted passengers, the airline is offering flexible options. Guests who booked travel to or from the Gulf region up to February 28, 2026, for journeys scheduled until March 5, 2026, can reschedule their travel to a future date without paying date change fees or opt for a full refund to the original mode of payment.

Passengers can manage their bookings via the “Manage Booking” section on the airline’s website or contact Tia, the airline’s 24/7 AI-powered assistant, available online and via WhatsApp at +91 63600 12345.

The airline stated that it appreciates the patience and understanding of its guests during the ongoing disruption.
