Beirut: Israeli air attacks struck multiple مناطق in southern Beirut and across southern Lebanon on Tuesday, as fighting with Hezbollah intensifies. Lebanese authorities say more than one million people have been displaced since the latest escalation began on March 2.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli warplanes carried out air strikes on the Kafaat and Haret Hreik neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs, as well as on a residential building in Doha Aramoun, just south of the capital. The country’s Health Ministry reported that at least one civilian, an Ethiopian woman, was wounded in the strikes.
Israel confirmed the attacks, stating they were aimed at Hezbollah targets. However, local reports indicate that some strikes hit residential areas, raising concerns over civilian safety.
