Eid al-Fitr on Friday in Gulf Countries as Shawwal Moon Not Sighted

Abu Dhabi: Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday in Gulf countries except Oman, as the Shawwal moon was not sighted. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain will complete 30 days of Ramadan.

Oman will announce its decision on Thursday after moon sighting. In some countries, Eid prayers will be limited to mosques due to safety and weather concerns.
