Dubai: In response to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, UAE-based humanitarian organization Dubai Humanitarian has dispatched 21.5 tonnes of medical supplies to support affected communities.
The aid, delivered in collaboration with the World Health Organization, includes essential medicines, emergency medical equipment, and critical healthcare supplies required to strengthen medical services in Lebanon.
The shipment, transported via four trucks, departed from Dubai on March 20 and is expected to reach Lebanon within the next few days.
The initiative was carried out under the directives of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with the aim of ensuring urgent healthcare support for populations affected by the conflict.
Dubai Humanitarian CEO Giuseppe Saba stated that the organization remains committed to delivering vital assistance to crisis-affected communities worldwide. The transport of aid has been supported by the Global Humanitarian Impact Fund.
The UAE continues to play a key role in international humanitarian efforts, working closely with global organizations to provide timely and effective relief to regions in need.
