Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has appealed to the public for assistance in locating a missing teenage girl in Muscat Governorate. Authorities confirmed that the incident has raised concern, prompting an urgent call for information from residents.
The missing girl has been identified as Shirin Mahmoud Shaban Yahya, a 15-year-old who went missing from the Ghubra area in Bausher Wilayat. According to officials, she left her family residence and has not returned since, triggering a police alert.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the ROP stated that efforts are ongoing to trace her whereabouts. However, due to the lack of immediate leads, authorities have urged members of the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist in the search.
Police have requested that anyone who may have seen the girl or has information about her location contact the Police Operations Center at 9999 or reach out to the nearest police station immediately.
The Royal Oman Police continues to coordinate search efforts and has emphasized the importance of community cooperation in such cases. Officials reiterated that timely information from the public can play a crucial role in ensuring the safe recovery of missing individuals.
