Dubai : LuLu International Exchange has entered into a strategic agreement with Dubai Municipality to enhance the accessibility and convenience of government-related payments for residents and businesses across the UAE. The collaboration allows customers to settle a wide range of Dubai Municipality service fees and fines through LuLu Exchange’s extensive branch network.

The agreement was formally signed by Sayed Ismaeil Al Hashimi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Support Sector at Dubai Municipality, and Thampi Sudarsanan, Chief Executive Officer of LuLu Exchange UAE. The initiative is aimed at simplifying payment processes and expanding service touchpoints for customers.

Under the partnership, both individual and corporate customers can visit designated LuLu Exchange branches to make payments for Dubai Municipality services using cash or cheque. The move is expected to significantly improve customer convenience by offering accessible, reliable, and hassle-free payment options closer to communities.

Commenting on the development, Thampi Sudarsanan said the collaboration represents a key milestone in expanding value-driven services through LuLu Exchange’s trusted network. He emphasized that the initiative brings essential government services closer to customers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to convenience and accessibility.

Sayed Ismaeil Al Hashimi highlighted that the agreement aligns with Dubai Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance service accessibility and diversify payment channels. By partnering with a trusted financial services provider like LuLu Exchange, the Municipality aims to strengthen the efficiency of its financial operations while delivering seamless, customer-centric services across the emirate.

The partnership also underscores LuLu Exchange’s continued focus on broadening its service offerings and strengthening its role as a reliable financial services partner in the UAE. By integrating government payment services into its branch network, the company is further enhancing its customer-focused approach.

LuLu Exchange currently operates more than 145 branches across the UAE and offers a wide range of services, including remittances, foreign exchange, wage protection system (WPS) solutions, and other value-added payment services. It is also expanding its digital footprint through platforms such as LuLu Money to provide secure and efficient financial solutions.

Dubai Municipality, on the other hand, plays a vital role in planning, developing, and maintaining Dubai’s urban environment. It oversees the collection of fees and fines associated with various municipal services, contributing to efficient governance and high-quality service delivery for residents, businesses, and visitors.
