The department said the designated mosques are spread across Sharjah city and surrounding regions to handle the large turnout expected for Eid prayers, one of the most significant religious observances in the Islamic calendar.
According to the authority, Eid Al Adha prayers will begin at 5:45am in Sharjah city, Al Hamriya, Al Madam, and Mleiha. Prayers are scheduled for 5:44am in Al Dhaid and Al Batayeh, while the Eastern Region of Sharjah will hold prayers at 5:42am.
The department confirmed that all mosques have undergone extensive cleaning, preventive maintenance, and technical inspections, including checks on sound systems and facilities, to ensure smooth and organised prayer services during the Eid holiday.
Officials said the preparations are part of ongoing efforts to provide worshippers with a safe, comfortable, and spiritually uplifting environment throughout Eid Al Adha celebrations across the emirate.
Authorities are also expected to coordinate crowd management and traffic arrangements around major mosques to facilitate smooth access for worshippers during the early morning prayers.
