Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi’s leading cultural and entertainment destinations are set to host a wide range of immersive experiences during the Eid al-Adha holiday, offering residents and visitors a blend of heritage, creativity, family entertainment, and interactive activities across the emirate.

Louvre Abu Dhabi will present a series of artistic and cultural programmes beneath its iconic dome, including audio-visual performances, guided wellness experiences, and international film screenings.

Among the highlights is the “Floating Breathwork” experience, featuring guided meditation and relaxation sessions in a multisensory floating environment designed to promote calmness and mental balance.

The museum will also showcase “We Are Not Alone,” an audio-visual production exploring themes of superintelligence and interstellar travel, featuring globally recognised voices including Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi.

Visitors can additionally watch “The Great Journey,” a film depicting the emotional story of a father and son travelling from southern France to Makkah, reflecting the spiritual values associated with Eid Al Adha.

Celebrating Emirati culture and traditions, Zayed National Museum will host its “Eid Joy” programme from May 27 to 31, featuring poetry, music, storytelling sessions, traditional crafts, and heritage performances.

One of the programme’s key attractions includes an interactive poetry initiative organised by Experience Abu Dhabi, where poets create personalised poems inspired by visitors’ memories and experiences in Abu Dhabi.

The museum will also host an “Eid Morning Gathering” inspired by the traditional Emirati majlis, featuring Nabati poetry, Emirati coffee, live music, handicraft workshops, and cultural performances including Al Ayala and Al Harbiyah.

Meanwhile, Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will offer family-oriented workshops and educational activities such as Eid biscuit decorating, henna art, palm weaving, mosaic design, and architecture tours highlighting the museum’s sustainable design vision.

On the entertainment front, Yas Island will host special Eid experiences across its world-famous theme parks.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will offer high-speed rides and rollercoaster attractions, while Yas Waterworld will feature new attractions including “Mataha Madness,” described as the UAE’s tallest waterslide tower.

Families visiting Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi can enjoy immersive themed lands and interactive experiences featuring globally recognised film and animation characters.

Officials said the programmes reflect Abu Dhabi’s commitment to delivering integrated Eid experiences that combine entertainment, education, heritage, and community values while celebrating Emirati culture and traditions.
