The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as Iranian terrorist missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait, warning that the incident threatens regional security and stability.
In an official statement, the ministry said the attacks represented a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and posed a serious threat to the country’s safety and stability.
The UAE reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed support for all measures taken by the Kuwaiti authorities to protect national security and maintain stability.
The condemnation followed an announcement by Kuwait’s armed forces stating that the country’s air defence systems had intercepted hostile missiles and drones attempting to enter Kuwaiti airspace on Thursday.
The UAE stressed the importance of respecting state sovereignty, adhering to international law, and avoiding actions that could escalate tensions in the region.
The incident comes amid heightened regional security concerns and renewed calls for de-escalation and diplomatic solutions to preserve stability across the Gulf region.
