Pacquiao praised the UAE’s rapid response and humanitarian support during a meeting with the UAE relief team currently deployed in the Philippines to assess conditions on the ground and assist affected communities.
She said the UAE’s support reflects the country’s deeply rooted humanitarian values and commitment to helping people affected by disasters around the world.
“The UAE consistently demonstrates its commitment to offering assistance to those in need across the globe, standing by communities in times of hardship and disaster,” Pacquiao said.

The mayor expressed appreciation for the assistance being provided to families impacted by the earthquake, noting that the aid is helping meet urgent humanitarian needs while offering reassurance and hope to those affected.
“We highly value the UAE’s support for the people of the Philippines during these difficult circumstances. UAE humanitarian aid is not only about providing food, medicine and basic necessities, but also about giving affected families a sense of security and hope,” she added.
Pacquiao highlighted the particular impact of the assistance on children and vulnerable families who endured fear, displacement, and the loss of homes and facilities following the earthquake.
