Dubai: Green Drops, an art magazine featuring a diverse collection of artworks created by nearly 100 students of Dubai Sunni Centre Madrasa, was officially released by Sayyid Sakkeer Hussain Thangal, who handed over its first copy to Yousuf Haji Kalleri.
The magazine, themed “Save Nature,” highlights various aspects of environmental conservation and stands as a testament to the younger generation’s deep bond with nature.
Through their creative expressions, the students have vividly portrayed themes such as love for nature, environmental stewardship, resistance to indiscriminate human encroachment and exploitation of natural resources, the destructive impact of pollution on ecosystems, and the growing threat of global warming. The artworks reflect a remarkable awareness of environmental issues and a strong commitment to protecting the planet.

The magazine was brought out under the auspices of the SKSBV Unit Committee as part of the observance of World Environment Day.
The release ceremony was attended by P.P. Ibrahim Faizy, Ali Faizy, Shameem Pannoor, Basheer Maulavi, Hamza Maulavi, M.A. Salam Rahmani, Riyaa Ash’ari, Abubacker Darimi, Shamsudheen Qasimi, Mustafa Darimi, Abdul Qader As’adi, Nasar Rahmani, Hasan Ramanthali, Shareef Ashrafi, Afeef Darimi, Shabeer Baqavi,Salim Asnavi and Shafi Darimi.
