Dubai : Long queues formed outside several LuLu Hypermarket outlets across the UAE late on Friday as shoppers turned out for the retailer’s midnight sale, which ran until 3am on Saturday.
Participating stores saw heavy footfall, with customers arriving ahead of the sale to purchase discounted products across multiple categories, including electronics, home appliances, groceries, household items and personal care products.
The sale offered discounts of up to 70 per cent on a wide range of products. Many outlets remained busy throughout the night as shoppers filled trolleys and queued at checkout counters.
In addition to the discounted prices, some purchases qualified for bank-linked offers available during the promotion.
The late-night event drew large crowds across several locations, reflecting continued consumer interest in retail promotions offering significant discounts. Similar midnight sales have become a regular feature of the UAE’s retail calendar, particularly during seasonal shopping periods.
