Al Ain,UAE : The Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025 officially begins today at the ADNEC Centre Al Ain, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. This national initiative aligns with the UAE’s strategic vision to bolster the local agricultural sector and promote sustainable food security.The platform brings together federal and government entities, leading companies, universities, students, and international stakeholders to exchange knowledge, drive innovation, and support the agricultural transformation of the UAE.On the opening day, the event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Her Excellency Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and other ministers and high-ranking officials.
The four-day event features participation from 22 federal and government entities, over 60 private companies and startups, 4 public universities, and more than 1,000 students. The venue is organized into specialized zones, including a Farmers’ Exhibition, Youth Zone, AgriTech Pavilion, Schools and Universities Zone, and Corporate and Government Zones. The integrated programme features over 35 panel discussions, 35 workshops, and 75 expert speakers who will lead engaging discussions and interactive sessions throughout the event.

As a keysponsor of the event, LuLu Group reaffirmed its dedication to supporting local farmers and promoting UAE-made products through its widespread retail network. The group signed a strategic MoU with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment to enhance and to promote the Emirati agricultural products.
The MoU was signed by Sultan Salam Al Shamsi, Director of the National Agriculture Center, and Ashraf Ali M.A., Executive Director of LuLu Group, in the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment along with Saifee Rupawala, CEO of Lulu and Salim M.A., Director of Lulu Global Operations
Lulu also forged a partnership with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination Abu Dhabi to procure farm produce cultivated by people of determination and promote it through its stores
During the event, Lulu unveiled a new UAE-grown grape variety, Seedless Fire Crunch, along with a new range of products under its own brand, all made and sourced in the UAE, such as Seri, Barhi, and Khalas Dates, Omega-3, Pasteurised, Selenium, and Vitamin D,E Eggs, Marinated Chicken, Meat and Lamb, Ostrich Oasis Meat Kebabs and Ostrich Eggs.
These initiatives are part of LuLu’s broader strategy to promote food sustainability, support local farming communities, and make high-quality UAE-manufactured products more accessible to consumers.
The event runs through May 31, featuring awareness campaigns, expert training, and workshops. On the final day, a special panel will honor the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Award winners for their innovative contributions to UAE agriculture
