The dual-brand initiative ‘Care for Her’ by Aster and ‘Elle by Medcare’ introduces specialized clinics for overlooked phases like adolescence and menopause.
DUBAI: Aster DM Healthcare has officially announced the rollout of a pioneering, comprehensive women’s health initiative designed to deliver structured, life-stage-specific healthcare across its extensive network in the United Arab Emirates. Spanning Aster Hospitals, Aster Clinics, Medcare Hospitals, and Medcare Medical Centres, the integrated program aims to guide and support women through shifting hormonal, physical, and emotional milestones.
The strategic roll-out introduces two distinct, tailored pathways across the group’s flagship brands: “Care for Her” via the Aster network, and “Elle by Medcare” through Medcare’s premium facilities. The framework structures medical intervention into four critical phases of a woman’s life: adolescence, the twenties, the preconception/childbearing years, and menopause. By consolidating preventative diagnostics, expert intervention, and long-term wellness tracking under a unified umbrella, the initiative represents one of the region’s most comprehensive clinical approaches to women’s health.
“In today’s fast-paced world, where families are often geographically separated and individual priorities clash, young girls and women frequently lack adequate support for their personal health needs,” said Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare. “They often face delays in seeking the right guidance and care. By leveraging our extensive experience supporting women’s health across Aster’s diverse networks, we aim to provide a comprehensive plan that anchors women at every stage of life. Whether it is a mother guiding her adolescent daughter, a young woman navigating fertility, or someone transitioning into menopause, this ecosystem unites an integrated network of specialists to ensure continuity of care.”
The comprehensive medical blueprint integrates multi-specialty consultations alongside preventative screening packages. Moving beyond traditional obstetrics and gynecology, the initiative incorporates specialized endocrinology, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, and mental health support. Critical clinical services include Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), metabolic and reproductive diagnostics, thyroid management, and dedicated emotional wellbeing counseling.
The infrastructure behind “Care for Her” will be anchored at Aster Hospitals in Al Mankhool and Al Qusais, alongside strategically located Aster Clinics in Bur Dubai, Mutheena, Discovery Gardens, Arabian Ranches, Al Qusais, and Al Khail. This setup utilizes dedicated care coordinators to manage seamless patient navigation from diagnostics through treatment and routine follow-ups.
Concurrently, “Elle by Medcare” offers a premium, high-touch ecosystem. Operating out of Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital, Medcare Women and Children Hospital, Medcare Hospital Sharjah, Medcare Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi Hospital, and select Medcare Medical Centres, the service routes patients from initial gynecological consultations into highly individualized, multidisciplinary treatment pathways. This segment focuses heavily on delivering clinically deep, customized care for women seeking tailored healthcare journeys through adolescence, reproductive maturity, and post-menopausal tracking.
Despite growing global conversations surrounding women’s health, critical milestones such as adolescent menarche and post-menopausal transitions remain heavily underserved in regional corporate healthcare structures. By embedding dedicated, specialized adolescence and menopause clinics directly into primary and tertiary care layouts, Aster DM Healthcare addresses a distinct market gap in the GCC region, shifting the paradigm from transactional, episode-based maternity care to lifelong preventative wellness tracking.
Beyond hospital walls, the initiative will launch extensive community outreach strategies. These include educational sessions, school-based preventive health programs, corporate wellness workshops, and interactive community seminars designed to enhance health literacy and dismantle taboos surrounding women’s metabolic and emotional lifecycles, ensuring a continuous, supportive clinical ecosystem.
