Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the accident site in Ahmedabad. Upon arriving in Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister directly went to the site of the disaster. From there, he visited the civil hospital to meet the injured. About fifty people are currently being treated here. The Mayor of Ahmedabad was present with the Prime Minister. Modi evaluated the situation at the disaster site. The Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Central Water Power Minister C.R. Patil were among those accompanying the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister spent about 15 minutes at the disaster site. After completing his visit to the hospital quickly, the Prime Minister returned promptly. A review meeting will be held under the Prime Minister’s leadership. Future actions will also be discussed in this meeting. The Union Aviation Minister will also participate in the meeting.

There are indications that the Prime Minister will meet the family of former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was killed in the plane crash. A total of 290 people died in the air disaster. 229 passengers and 12 crew members on board the plane lost their lives.
