Dubai;Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has streamlined its vehicle licensing services, cutting the number of transactions from 54 to just 14—a significant 74% reduction aimed at improving digital accessibility and customer satisfaction.
The move is part of RTA’s ‘360 Comprehensive Services’ initiative, designed to deliver integrated, seamless, and smart services via platforms like the ‘Dubai Now’ app. The overhaul aligns with Dubai’s goal of becoming the world’s most digitally advanced city.
Ahmed Mahboob, CEO of RTA’s Licensing Agency, said the restructuring enhances efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience, reducing physical visits and wait times. Services like vehicle registration certificates, which previously required 13 steps, have been consolidated into a single transaction.

New features include electronic signature via UAE Pass and remote completion of procedures such as vehicle plate delivery, eliminating the need for in-person attendance.
The initiative integrates advanced technologies and data-sharing with government entities, reinforcing RTA’s commitment to innovation and service excellence.
