Dubai : Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the operating hours of its various services during the upcoming holiday marking the Islamic New Year (Hijri 1447H), which falls on Friday, June 27, 2025. The revised timings will apply to customer service centres, public transport systems, parking zones, and vehicle testing facilities.
Customer Happiness Centres
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed on the day of the holiday. However, customers can continue to access services through Smart Customer Happiness Centres located in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office. These centres will remain operational 24/7.
Service Provider Centres (Vehicle Technical Testing)
All technical testing centres and service provider outlets will be closed on Friday, June 27. Regular operations will resume on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Dubai Metro
Metro services will operate as usual during the holiday with extended timings:
Friday, June 27: From 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day).
Dubai Tram
Tram services will follow a similar extended schedule:
Friday, June 27: From 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day).
Public Buses (Dubai Bus)
Bus users are advised to check the S’hail app for detailed schedule updates, which may vary during the holiday period.
Marine Transport
RTA has also advised users of marine transport services, including abras and ferries, to consult the official online schedule through the designated portal for up-to-date holiday timings.
The RTA encourages all residents and visitors to plan their journeys in advance and use smart apps like S’hail for real-time service updates. The Authority extended warm wishes to the public on the occasion of the Islamic New Year and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring seamless and efficient mobility services during the holiday.
