Dubai :The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has launched the second phase of its awareness initiative, “Ideal Face 2”, at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 Departure area. Running from July 1 to 13, the interactive booth promotes values of mutual respect, kindness, and exemplary behavior among residents and visitors.The initiative, themed “This is the Dubai We Aspire To”, was inaugurated by Lt. General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA. Key dignitaries including Majed Al Joker (COO, Dubai Airports), Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor (Deputy Director General, GDRFA Dubai), and Essa Al Shamsi (SVP, Passenger Terminal Operations, Dubai Airports) also visited the booth.Visitors are invited to engage with activities that highlight real-life stories of positive behavior, make pledges to uphold human values, and receive thank-you cards for demonstrating civility.
The platform fosters direct interaction between the public and authorities, strengthening community dialogue.Lt. Gen. Al Marri described the initiative as a “practical embodiment of UAE’s social values,” adding that it celebrates human-centered values and reflects Dubai’s global model in civic engagement.The initiative is also accessible digitally via GDRFA’s official platforms, enabling broader participation and reaffirming Dubai’s commitment to inclusive and responsive governance.
