Sharjah,: Mleiha National Park is inviting history enthusiasts, students, and families to embark on a unique educational adventure through one of the Arabian Peninsula’s richest archaeological landscapes. Located in the heart of Sharjah’s desert, the park brings 210,000 years of human history to life, from the Stone Age to pre-Islamic trade civilizations.
Developed by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and supported by the Sharjah Archaeology Authority (SAA), the park features the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, guided tours of excavation sites, fossil hunts for children, and advanced educational programmes for university students.

Visitors can explore ancient tools, coins, Greco-Roman artifacts, and even Arabia’s only known horse-and-camel ritual burial. The park also offers hands-on workshops, astronomy camps, and adventure-filled site visits that connect learning with exploration.
“Mleiha is more than a tourist destination—it’s a living archive of human resilience,” said Omar Jasim Al Ali, Manager of Mleiha & Strategic Projects. “It’s where the story of civilisation is told through the land itself.”Open year-round, Mleiha National Park stands as a global model for heritage tourism, offering an inspiring experience for all ages.
