Dubai:Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, praised the success of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Program, which aims to reinforce family values and strengthen social cohesion in Emirati society.While reviewing the program’s outcomes, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that people remain at the heart of Dubai’s development vision. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering Emirati families and ensuring long-term social stability.Launched by the Community Development Authority (CDA) in September 2023, the program offers mental and social support, financial literacy initiatives, and direct monetary aid for marriage-related expenses — including housing assistance for newlyweds.“The success of this program has further solidified the foundation of social stability,” said Sheikh Hamdan, noting that it aligns with the goals of Dubai Social Agenda 33, particularly in empowering youth and building a stable, future-ready society.

Sheikh Hamdan also congratulated the young Emiratis who participated, commending their awareness and responsibility in starting family life. He highlighted that stable families are essential to national progress.The initiative has significantly increased the marriage rate among Emiratis. The Dubai Weddings Program saw a 218% rise in participants in 2025 compared to 2024, with over 700 weddings supported under the initiative so far.
