DUBAI, UAE : Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has approved the formation of the higher supervisory committee for the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Program.
The decision establishes a dedicated leadership framework to guide the program’s strategic objectives, which focus on fostering family stability, empowering UAE national households, and consolidating Dubai’s comprehensive social development model.
Key Objectives and Strategic Focus
The committee will be responsible for defining the overarching strategy of the program, monitoring the implementation of its social initiatives, and ensuring alignment with Dubai’s broader social sector vision.
By prioritizing family cohesion, early child development, and sustainable social support systems, the initiative seeks to build resilient communities capable of adapting to future challenges.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that family stability remains a fundamental pillar of Dubai’s socio-economic development plan. The initiative honors the long-standing philanthropic and social contributions of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
