Retail bullion rates across Dubai and the Emirates ease following a slight pull-back from yesterday’s closing prices.

DUBAI, Aug. 13, 2026:Gold prices in the United Arab Emirates recorded a decline on Thursday morning, with 24-karat gold dropping to AED 529.75 per gram.

The morning rates released by the Dubai Jewellery Group show a drop of AED 3.50 per gram for 24-karat gold compared to yesterday’s closing price of AED 533.25.

Lower purities reflected similar downward adjustments across retail outlets in Dubai and the wider Emirates:

  • 22-Karat: Decreased by AED 3.50 to trade at AED 490.50 per gram, down from AED 494.00.
  • 21-Karat: Fell to AED 470.25 per gram from yesterday’s AED 473.50.
  • 18-Karat: Eased to AED 403.25 per gram compared to AED 406.00 recorded at the previous close.
  • 14-Karat: Stood at AED 314.50 per gram, down from AED 316.50.

The dip provides brief relief for retail buyers and jewellery shoppers in the region following recent surges. Retail gold rates in the UAE are updated multiple times daily based on international spot prices and local market factors. Local jewelers expect steady footfall ahead of the upcoming weekend as consumers closely track the fluctuating spot rates.
