ABU DHABI — The UAE Ministry of Interior’s Police Sports Association has launched a series of educational workshops to promote awareness of martial arts training policies and regulatory frameworks across various police departments and ministry divisions.
The initiative targets personnel across multiple Police General Headquarters and specialized units nationwide. The sessions focus on clarifying martial arts belt rankings, standardized training schedules, eligibility requirements, institutional discipline, and strict punctuality guidelines. Legal frameworks and administrative regulations governing martial arts practice within law enforcement are also detailed throughout the program.
“Establishing clear standards for martial arts training ensures our personnel maintain the highest levels of physical readiness, discipline, and tactical proficiency,” police officials stated regarding the launch.
The workshops aim to align physical training protocols across all emirates, establishing uniform criteria for belt progressions and operational readiness among police forces.
