The UAE Fuel Price Steering Committee has raised retail petrol prices across all grades for September, tracking benchmark global crude trends.

ABU DHABI — Retail fuel prices in the United Arab Emirates will increase by up to 5.87 percent for September 2026, the UAE Fuel Price Steering Committee announced on Monday.

The monthly price revision, which aligns domestic retail rates with international energy benchmark movements, takes effect on September 1.

Under the new pricing schedule, Super 98 petrol will cost AED 3.80 per litre, up from the August rate. Special 95 has been fixed at AED 3.69 per litre, while E-Plus 91 will sell at AED 3.61 per litre. Diesel prices have been adjusted to AED 4.30 per litre.

  • Super 98: AED 3.80 per litre
  • Special 95: AED 3.69 per litre
  • E-Plus 91: AED 3.61 per litre
  • Diesel: AED 4.30 per litre

The price adjustment follows the country’s deregulated fuel policy, introduced in August 2015, which links domestic pump prices to average global oil prices. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure sets the rates monthly through a committee comprising representatives from the ministry and national fuel distribution companies, including ADNOC Distribution, ENOC, and Emarat.

Consumers across the Emirates will see the revised rates reflected at service stations starting midnight on Tuesday.
