Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities convenes regional experts from Sept. 15–17 to address artificial intelligence, national identity, and modern classroom dynamics.
ABU DHABI, Sept. 8, 2026 : Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities will host an international education summit next week examining how rapid advances in artificial intelligence and shifting communications impact family-school partnerships across the region.
The three-day forum, titled “Education in the Service of the Family: From Vision to Impact,” runs from Sept. 15 to Sept. 17 under the patronage of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. Organised alongside the Education Interface platform, the gathering aligns with the UAE’s formal designation of 2026 as the “Year of the Family.”
Government officials, academic researchers, and social development specialists will evaluate how family units function as an anchor for classroom achievement amid disruptive digital trends. Agenda tracks highlight digital parenting strategies, the protection of cultural values, foundational national identity, and curricula calibrated toward future employment demands.
Organisers confirmed the proceedings will mark the official launch of the Family Book, a collaborative publication compiled by the university and Education Interface. The reference text draws on domestic field studies and sociological data to provide policymakers with evidence-based recommendations on synchronizing domestic parenting with institutional education.
The university confirmed that discussions will directly shape initiatives targeting sustainable social cohesion. Policy recommendations formulated during the three days are scheduled to feed directly into the upcoming 12th edition of the Education Interface Exhibition, slated for Sept. 22–23 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Together, both fixtures form a comprehensive national framework connecting parents, educators, and enterprise leaders to evaluate the trajectory of the modern education system.
