Dubai KMCC Kasaragod District Committee launches the registration portal for its flagship leadership training camp, ‘Leadx Horizon’
DUBAI — Expatriate community leaders must build modern organizational capabilities to confront emerging economic and social challenges, Manjeshwaram MLA A.K.M. Ashraf said in Dubai during the launch of the registration portal for an upcoming leadership summit.
Addressing delegates at the launch of ‘Leadx Horizon’—a dedicated leadership camp organized by the Dubai KMCC Kasaragod District Committee—Ashraf emphasized that the diaspora’s leadership tier must evolve alongside shifting sociopolitical and economic realities. Non-resident Indians, particularly the Gulf diaspora, continue to serve as the backbone of Kerala’s financial stability, requiring forward-looking community stewards to safeguard their welfare.
“Changing times demand adaptable organizational strategies,” Ashraf said, addressing attendees. “Expatriate youth must equip themselves to lead from the front, navigate contemporary hurdles, and sustain the vital bridge between their host countries and home communities.” Structured executive and leadership training programs play an indispensable role in mentoring principled community administrators, he added.
Ashraf noted that grassroots volunteer bodies like KMCC remain critical frontline responders for migrant rights, legal support, repatriation, and welfare drives across the United Arab Emirates. The objective of programs like Leadx Horizon is to inject fresh dynamism and administrative rigor into long-standing community services.
Dubai KMCC State Acting President Ismail Eramala formally inaugurated the event. Hanif T.R., General Secretary of the Kasaragod District Committee, opened proceedings with a welcome address, while Safe Line Group Managing Director Dr. Abubacker Kuttikkol attended as the chief guest.
Senior community figures and district representatives addressed the assembly, including Nasser Mullakkal, Hamza Thotti, Adv. Ibrahim Khaleel, Afsal Mettammal, Abdul Khader Areepampra, Majeed Thuppakkal, K.P. Muhammed, Jaleel, and Mashhoor Thangal.
A district delegation comprising C.H. Noorudheen, Subair Abdulla, Hasainar Beejanthadukka, Rafeeq Padanna, Moytheen Bava Hosangadi, Ashraf Bayar, P.D. Noorudheen, Siddeeque Chowki, Basheer Pallikkara, Subair Kubanoor, Asif Hosangadi, Ibrahim Berikke, Faisal Patel, Rafeeq Mangad, Khalid Palakki, A.G.A. Rahman, Saifudheen Mogral, Thathu Thalhath, Haseeb Khan, Rasheed Avayil, Rashid Padanna, Mansoor Marthya, Salam Maviladam, Salim Cherangkai, and Muneer Berikke attended the portal rollout.
District Treasurer Dr. Ismail Mogral delivered the vote of thanks, concluding the launch session.
