Sharjah Private Education Authority inks tripartite partnerships with ICESCO, FranklinCovey Middle East, and Faseeh E-Learning Centre to overhaul classroom practices and student skills.

SHARJAH — October 5, 2026 : His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday presided over the signing of three separate strategic partnership agreements by the Sharjah Private Education Authority aimed at advancing curriculum standards, school leadership, and digital Arabic-language instruction across the emirate.

The agreements formalize institutional collaboration between the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and three specialized organizations: the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) regional office in Sharjah, FranklinCovey Middle East, and the Faseeh E-Learning Centre.

SPEA Director-General Ali Ahmed Al Hosani finalized the accords alongside Salem Omar Salem, Director of the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah; Ammar Ahmed Abdulrasoul, Chief Executive Officer of FranklinCovey Middle East; and Dr. Sajida Salem Mohammed, Executive Director of Faseeh E-Learning Centre.

The agreement with ICESCO establishes an open institutional framework addressing education, science, culture, technology, innovation, and youth empowerment. Under the terms, both organizations will exchange administrative expertise, organize joint capacity-building programs, and design educational initiatives intended to have local and regional reach across private institutions. The partnership operates on an adaptive model, allowing collaborative projects to evolve based on regulatory mandates and institutional resources without tying either body to a single project.

Under the second agreement, FranklinCovey Middle East will work with SPEA to institute comprehensive leadership training across private schools. The partnership centers on school administrators and teaching staff, focusing on classroom governance, parent-school engagement, and international management practices.

A central component of this alliance involves introducing the “Leader in Me” framework to secondary school pupils throughout Sharjah’s private school network. The program targets character development, personal responsibility, critical thinking, and civic contribution among adolescent learners preparing for university transition.

The third pact, signed with Faseeh E-Learning Centre, targets the modernization of Arabic-language teaching. The center will provide technical and pedagogical support to retrain Arabic language educators across Sharjah’s private schools.

The collaboration also covers curriculum enhancement, joint educational research, and the deployment of digital tools—including artificial intelligence platforms—to make Arabic language acquisition more engaging and effective for diverse student demographics.

The tripartite signing reflects Sharjah’s broader regulatory efforts to benchmark private schooling standards against global indicators while reinforcing regional cultural and linguistic foundations.
