Parkin brings Warsan Industrial Area under paid zone 622T, introducing daytime tariff controls across eastern commercial corridors.
DUBAI, Oct. 26 :Dubai’s exclusive public parking provider, Parkin, has extended its paid parking system to cover two additional operational sectors, including the bustling Warsan Industrial Area, setting roadside fees at Dh4.20 per hour.
The expansion targets high-density commercial and light industrial hubs across eastern Dubai to streamline turnover, reduce curb congestion, and eliminate unauthorized long-term parking. Motorists leaving vehicles in the newly designated zone covering the Warsan Industrial Area must now pay parking fees from Monday through Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Parking remains free on Sundays and during declared official public holidays.
The newly regulated district operates under parking zone code 622T. Signage carrying the zone code, tariff structure, and payment options has been installed across curbside spaces and surface lots throughout the zone.

Geographically, the Warsan Industrial Area sits directly opposite International City and borders major trade destinations, including Dragon Mart. The location serves as a feeder corridor connecting commuter traffic between Al Warqa, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Dubai International Academic City. Rampant vehicle accumulation from nearby wholesale trading outlets, logistics facilities, and residential clusters had previously placed mounting pressure on available street bays.
Motorists can settle parking charges through the official Parkin mobile application, SMS to the designated local service number, WhatsApp, and digital payment kiosks. Standard SMS convenience charges continue to apply when paying via mobile telecom carriers. Motorists parking without a valid ticket or overstaying paid time slots face municipal parking penalties under Dubai’s traffic enforcement code.
The transition forms part of Parkin’s operational mandate to commercialize and regulate municipal parking assets across residential, industrial, and newly developed freehold districts in the emirate, matching street usage fees to vehicle turnover demand.
